David Joy, CEO of LCR, has been awarded an MBE for services to Urban Regeneration in the Queens Birthday Honours List.
David says: “I am delighted to have been included in this year’s Queen’s Birthday Honours list for my contributions to an industry I have been passionate about for so many years. I am particularly proud of LCR’s achievements, from our beginnings as the company that led the delivery of HS1, to our long-term involvement in King’s Cross and now Stratford and Manchester. It’s a great honour.”
David is Chief Executive of LCR, a role he took up on 31 March 2011. Previously, David was Development and Property Director responsible for the development and management of property owned by LCR, and closely involved in the regeneration of key areas in London and the Thames Gateway. He is a director of the joint venture with Lend Lease developing the International Quarter in Starford, London. He is also a director of the Mayfield Partnership joint venture with U&I, Manchester City Council, and Transport for Greater Manchester, delivering the Mayfield development next to Piccadilly station in Manchester.
